A lot of fights can be expected to take place in familiar settings like Batman’s Batcave. Mortal Kombat’s signature bone-crushing, spleen-splitting, and ultra violent finishers known as Fatalities are nowhere to be found due to the game’s presumable T-rating. Instead each hero or villain possesses a unique supermove. Superman, for instance, has a move where he launches his opponent into space, follows, and slams the hapless victim back down into the arena.

IGI 3 The Mark are Europe’s last line of defense, tasked to stop a deadly nuclear package before it reaches it’s destination, London. It would be so easy and tempting to describe how bad IGI 3 The Mark is by making some cute remark like, “IGI 3 The Mark is way off IGI 3 The Mark,” or “The lame gameplay is a black mark against IGI 3 The Mark.” However, that takes more effort than this dreary, lackluster shooter from Dream Catcher and T7 Games deserves. Sure, it’s a budget shooter, but that doesn’t excuse the fact that it’s a very bad game. As far as shooters go, IGI 3 The Mark can head toward the bottom of the list.
IGI 3 The Mark wants to be like a Hollywood style buddy movie in this case, a US Marine and a British mercenary who must team up to stop London from being nuked by terrorists. It’s a fairly generic but passable plot device, but the game manages to get everything else wrong. The plot itself is overly contrived and makes no sense. For example, before they nuke London, the terrorists need to kill the marine and his sister because they’re the only people who can identify the missile they plan to use. But wouldn’t the missile be vaporized by the nuclear explosion? There’s also the fact that the bad guy’s father, a gazillionaire, finds out about the plot and wants to stop it. But instead of picking up the phone and calling, say, the British government, he hires a mercenary to protect the marine. Because as long as he’s alive, the terrorists won’t launch their missile because he could identify it!
IGI 3 The Mark isn’t a humorous or fun game in any sense of the words. It’s also a tedious game that taxes your patience and your endurance. When you get down to it, there are simply far too many other shooters that you can spend your money on, and most of those will offer a more enjoyable and fun gameplay experience than IGI 3 The Mark.

Invasion had been so sudden that human casualties were just uncalculatable. Aliens had perfect technologies and humans were always defeated in direct encounters. United government of the earth decided to open war on enemy territories. Project ”star avenger” was developed to create a mobile military unit that could destroy all alien bases.
Humankind, united by single goal, managed to build heavy weaponed and armored truck. It was the truck that was the sole hope of the entire planet earth habitants.

The first level is a tutorial level where you learn to maneuver your vehicle (using the keyboard cursor keys) to move around a maze like structure. The controls are a little twitchy; making it quite hard to control the turning of your vehicles, but it does get easier with a little practice. This is important as in later levels you have to maneuver around lots of objects. You’ll also be given the opportunity to try out the various weapons that you carry on your vehicle. The top mounted weapon is controlled by the movement of the mouse; the mouse pointer becomes the firing reticule and the fire button is the left mouse button; grenades can be thrown by using the right mouse button and the super weapon by using the space bar. All key bindings can be changed to keys more comfortable to the individual by going into the options menu via the main menu. Your main weapon can be changed from the default mini gun to a laser and pulse cannon using the mouse scroll wheel. It appears that all the weapons are upgradeable apart from the grenades, but I wasn’t able to confirm this as I only played as far as level 4 (the Jupiter level). You’ll find each level has a boss stage at the end of the level.
The basic set up of the game play is to destroy a building that holds the force field generators, then go collect the energy sphere that was initially protected by the force field. As soon as you collect the sphere you are attacked by hordes of aliens. As you progress the levels get steadily harder.
You’ll find several bonuses in game. You need to pick these up quickly as they disappear within around 20 to 30 seconds. These include the following:
A= Armor (health)
S= Super Weapon
G= Adds 10 grenades
T= Time deceleration

Serious Sam The First Encounter It's a great looking, fun filled game that has plenty of visceral thrills and absolutely, positively the biggest battles in any shooter to date.
You'd be hard-pressed to come up with a game that's anywhere near as intense as Serious Sam, from Croatian developer Croteam. It's an extremely fast-paced first-person shooter, featuring a great variety of weapons and monsters. It's got a good sense of humor and a distinct style, and it also boasts a very impressive 3D engine that's especially noteworthy for its ability to display a huge number of 3D characters onscreen simultaneously. Actually, the sheer numbers of foes you'll face is probably the single most remarkable thing about Serious Sam. Then again, the game has a lot of other great qualities, such as its excellent multiplayer mode, its good sound effects, and even its low retail price.  It's undoubtedly a simple game at heart--but Serious Sam does an excellent job with all the core gameplay elements that are essential to any action game.
Enemies swarm from all directions...
One look at the box it features Sam wielding a gigantic chaingun against a horde of monsters and you'll get a pretty good idea of what the game's all about. There's some context to why the game is set around the ancient pyramids in Egypt, why Sam's facing an alien menace all by himself, and why his enemies can teleport into the vicinity without any notice. Fortunately, all of Sam's weapons are very direct--each new one you find seems bigger and stronger than the last--and you need never worry about manually reloading them, using alternate modes of fire, or anything of the sort. There's no time for these things, since you're almost always busy fending off hordes of quick, deadly monsters. Some of these will fire at you from a distance, while many will simply rush towards you. All are utterly relentless. The comical monsters in Serious Sam stand in stark contrast to the beautiful if sparse Egyptian settings in the game. Still, many of the different monsters in Serious Sam are a pleasure to battle again and again. They lunge at you so ferociously that, every time you manage to dodge them, it's a near miss.
