Spiderman 1 PC Game Full Version Free Download

Spider-Man will let you play hero for a day, but be ready to fight with the game's weaknesses as well as its villains.

Once bitten, twice the guy. Thanks to the bite of an irradiated spider, budding boy genius Peter Parker suddenly finds himself turned into a superhuman with the powers of a spider. The rest is comic book history. As the Marvel Comics superhero Spider-Man, Parker has been entertaining legions of fans for 40 years through a string of comic book titles and animated series. If the Spider-Man game is any indication, the general love affair with all things Spidey burns as brightly as ever. Originally developed by Neversoft, the developer behind the hit Tony Hawk's Pro Skater series, Spider-Man first swung its way onto the PlayStation, and soon leapt to the Nintendo 64, Game Boy Color, and Dreamcast. Now the third-person action-adventure game has come to the PC to make true believers out of computer gamers. Along the way, though, it's run into a few snags that often dampen the game's more entertaining aspects.
He story, told through cutscenes, voice-overs, and in-game dialogue, opens at a conference held by the renowned Dr. Otto Octavius, who's preparing to demonstrate his latest invention. While the good doctor pontificates about the virtues of progress through technology, Spider-Man suddenly leaps onto the stage and makes off with Octavius' device before the assembled crowd. Since the real Spider-Man, Peter Parker, stands among the members of the press taking photos for the Daily Bugle newspaper, it can only mean an imposter is at large and ruining Spidey's already tenuous reputation. Parker's jealous journalistic competition at the Bugle, Eddie Brock, also witnesses the shocking event. The fact that Octavius is really the supervillain Dr. Octopus and Brock plays host to an evil alien symbiote named Venom can only mean more outlandish trouble for our wall-crawling hero. This game takes classic superhero melodrama and unashamedly runs with it.
After the game's mysterious opening sequence, you begin your heroic adventures in New York City. You start by foiling a bank heist and then move up to greater challenges like evading a missile-firing police helicopter that chases after our framed hero. Later, you'll fight swarming lizardmen on top of a rushing subway train and battle alien symbiotes in the Daily Bugle. All told, there are eight main locations, like Manhattan's rooftops, a high-rise bank, and the New York City sewer system, making for around 30 3D levels in all. Gameplay primarily revolves around platform jumping, a little stealth, and beating up lots and lots of bad guys. During your adventures, you'll meet fellow heroes like Daredevil, Black Cat, and the Human Torch who'll offer tips and villains like Scorpion, Rhino, and Venom who'll beat you to a pulp if you're not quick with your webshooters.
No matter how smartly you play, be ready for some hassles--the game uses a save point system instead of letting you save when you choose. Game designers seem to ignore the fact that in the real world, not all gamers have the luxury of playing for long, uninterrupted stretches until they can reach a save point or the end of a level. At least you can tackle the game on four different difficulty levels, including a "kid mode" that simplifies the controls and gameplay for the younger set.
To foil villains and save the day, you'll employ around 18 moves. For simple problems, a number of simple solutions are on hand (or foot): You can jump, grab, punch, and kick your way out of the game's lesser binds. Thanks to that fateful spider bite, Spidey can perform all these moves with extraordinary strength and agility. These core moves can be linked into combos, like jumping punches or the "grab and kick," where you sneak up behind a villain, grab him, and then unceremoniously give him the boot.  Of course, Spider-Man's chief claims to fame, other than running around New York City in bright tights, are his masterful web slinging talents. Here's where the game's combat gets interesting, thanks to Spider-Man's arsenal of clever web weapons. You can sling webs that temporarily enmesh enemies or flick distant switches. If standard punches aren't working for you, you can create spiked gloves out of your webbing for added damage. You can borrow a page from Captain America's (comic) book and create your own web shield for defense. For pummeling villains from a distance, you can launch balls of webbing at them. If that doesn't get their attention, you can shoot a web line at them and yank them in the direction of your choosing. No matter what approach you use, you'll find that enemies aren't overly bright; bad guys rely more on brute force than anything else. "Mindless thugs” indeed.
As clever and entertaining as these diverse abilities often are, they don't get their full due because of the game's awkward controls. Like many console ports, Spider-Man does little to take its new PC audience fully into account. You can control Spidey with the keyboard, a joystick, or a gamepad, though your controller of choice should preferably have at least six buttons. You'll need a spider's agility to master the keyboard approach, though it grows a bit easier with time, and a joystick can feel clunky and unresponsive. A gamepad is your best bet since that's what the original PlayStation game was designed to use. It's no secret, though, that many PC gamers don't own a gamepad for their computer since so few PC games require anything more than a mouse and keyboard. If you decide to use the keyboard, you won't be able to use mouse-look, which is shame since that would dramatically improve gameplay. As it stands, to aim accurately at distant targets you need to activate a special targeting cursor that you can only move with your chosen controller. Ideally, a small cursor should have been present all the time to help orient your character and aim. No matter which controller you use, Spidey only turns in set increments instead of using a smooth range of motion, which feels unnatural and makes viewing specific areas or moving to them harder than it should be. It can be quite the challenge to make Spider-Man do anything a spider can.
Like the controls, the camera needs more work. Overall, it does a fairly good job of following our hero, especially considering that he can run on floors, clamber up walls, and zip up to ceilings on a whim. Still, walls and objects will often block your view, sometimes making spotting enemies too difficult and falling off of skyscrapers too easy. Also, when you move Spidey onto a ceiling, the camera sometimes reorients itself so that you view him from directly above instead of slightly behind, thanks to a temporarily translucent ceiling. The effect can be a bit disorienting when Spidey repeatedly switches from floors to walls to ceilings.
Spider-Man's simply textured, blocky graphics and muddy cutscenes are distinctly underwhelming, if not outright poor. Some of the settings are bland and boring too--the dark, drab sewers in particular are overused. Still, the graphics do at least evoke the look and feel of the classic Spider-Man comics and cartoons. The same holds true for the game's audio. The familiar opening theme song, updated from the '60s cartoon series and featuring an incredibly catchy bass riff, sets the right mood from the very start. Spider-Man cocreator Stan Lee narrates the game in his authoritative style. Lee always sounds like he's having fun with his creation and doesn't take it dreadfully seriously. When he describes Peter Parker as a "sometimes neurotic" hero, you know that the writers aren't afraid to gently laugh along with you at the essential silliness of the game's story and superhero conventions. It's all good-natured fun, though.
It's a shame that more time and effort couldn't have been put into making this Spider-Man port better suited to the PC and the PC gaming audience, as well as improving some problems that hurt the original game. The awkward controls and camera in particular often take the wind out of the game's sails. At its best, Spider-Man immerses you in the colorful, enjoyably implausible Marvel Comics universe, and swinging between skyscrapers and firing off webs offer up plenty of adventurous, if shallow, thrills. If you've ever wanted to play hero for a day, Spider-Man will let you, but be ready to fight with the game's weaknesses as well as its villains.

Battlefield 1942' is a 3D World War II first-person shooter (FPS) computer game  developed by Swedish company Digital Illusions CE and published by Electronic Arts for Microsoft Windows (2002) and Apple Macintosh (2004). The game can be played in singleplayer mode against computer game bots or in multiplayer mode against players on the Internet or in a Local Area Network. It is also a popular platform for mod  developers, with a large number of released modifications that alter the gameplay and theme.
In-game, players assume the role of one of five classes of infantry: Scout, Assault, Anti-Tank, Medic, and Engineer. Players also have the ability to fly various World War II fighter aircraft and bombers, navigate capital ships, submarines and aircraft carriers, man coastal artillery defenses, drive tanks, APCs |and jeeps, and take control of anti-aircraft guns and mounted machine guns.
Each battle takes place on one of several maps located in a variety of places and famous battlefields in all of the major theaters of World War II: the Pacific, European, North African, and Eastern Fronts. Combat is always fought between the Axis Powers and the Allies. The location determines which nation-specific armies are used (for example, on the Wake Island map, it is Japan versus the United States, while on the Battle of Britain map, it is Germany versus the United Kingdom). The maps in Battlefield 1942 are based on real battles and are somewhat realistically portrayed.

Hitman 3- Contracts

Hitman 1- Codename 47
A third person shooter that emphasizes stealth and tactical thinking, Hitman: Codename 47 is a mixture of action and puzzle gaming. You play the mysterious, nameless Hitman, whose perfectly lean body and UPC-stamped head indicate a somewhat unnatural childhood. Waking up one day in a cell, you escape your imprisionment and are shortly contacted by the Agency, an organization as mysterious as yourself. Offering a job in what you do best (delivering death), you embark on a career as an assassin. But the shadow of your past creeps up on you...and the last thing an assassin needs is something creeping on him. A 3-D game done nearly entirely from the third person (first person is used for aiming certain weapons), Hitman may initially draw comparisons to the Tomb Raider series. Although you can play in such a mode, there is also another mode where the mouse is more free to roam. Reflections, muzzle flashes, bodies that obey physics and slump and fall when necessary, and impressive shadows attempt to make the world feel realistic. A wide array of weaponry are available, from knives and piano wire to silenced pistols to sub-machine guns and even heavy machine guns. Although such weapons are available, stealth will be your friend. The A.I. reacts to shouts, gunfire, and other odd occurences, sometimes even getting suspicious if you're running around and so silence and sneakiness are your two best allies. Take down lone guards, hide their bodies and steal their uniforms. Then move in closer to your kill. Multiple methods of completing most of the levels are available, although one or two are the most efficient and therefore earn you the most money.

Hitman 2- Silent Assassin
Hitman 2: Silent Assassin is the sequel begins in a Sicilian monastery. Hitman tries to distance himself from his violent past, but he fails when discovered by a Russian crime lord and tricked into returning to his trade. But soon he discovers that he has been manipulated and is now a target himself - of a highly trained ex-Spetsnaz assassin. So you as Hitman have to accomplish missions by eliminating primary targets in multiple play styles, carrying weapons and equipment from mission to mission.

Hitman 3- Contracts
Hitman: Contracts is the third game in the Hitman series by Eidos Interactive and Io Interactive.
You again take on the role of 47, the famous hitman of the past two games. The story opens with 47 being shot, and he is lying on the floor, dying. The whole game takes place in "flashbacks", and the missions you complete are missions that 47 has "already done", and he is reminsicing about them on his death bed. The beginning level opens up in the insane asylum where you ended the first game. People who finished the first game will immediately recognize it, but you do not need any past experience to enjoy the game or story.
To complete your missions, 47 has access to a large variety of weapons. You've got pistols, both regular and silenced, shotguns, assault rifles, sniper rifles, and more.
You will be tasked with killing various targets or completing objectives, and you have a variety of ways to do so. For example, you come across your target in a mess hall, with a guard nearby. Do you kill the target, then take on the guard and others who come after you? Do you run to the kitchen, put laxative into his soup, and wait to kill him when he runs to the bathroom? Or do you get a sniper rifle, climb up the watchtower at the other end, and shoot him through a window? The choice is yours.
Hitman can be played as stealthily or as aggressively as you want. The game awards sneaky players with the "Silent Assassin" ranking, which gives you a special weapon upon completion. To do this, you must not fire your weapon at anybody except the target, and even then, you can only kill the target with one shot. You cannot kill anybody else, unless they are specific targets. Hitman: Contracts rewards those who are up to the challenge.

WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2011  is a professional wrestling video game developed by Yuke's and published by THQ.It was released on October 26, 2010 in North America, October 28, 2010 in Australia and October 29, 2010 in Europe. The game is based on the two brands of WWE, Raw and SmackDown.

One of the main changes in the game is the incorporation of a new physics system that allows objects to be used more realistically, such as objects involved in the Tables, Ladders, and Chairs match. Tables now break differently depending on the impact placed upon them. Inside and outside the ring, ladders can now be rested onto the ring ropes and be broken in half. For the first time since the original WWE SmackDown! vs. Raw game, chairs can be thrown at the player's opponents.

The Hell in a Cell match was revamped with expanded cell walls, weapons underneath the ring, steel steps near the poles, and the removal of the cell door. In addition, new ways to exit the cell were introduced, such as barreling through the cage wall.

For the first time since WWE SmackDown! Shut Your Mouth, the player can roam freely around the backstage areas in the game's primary story mode, though the ability to roam during matches has not returned to the series. Moves and controls are modified to incorporate new options to perform during and after a move is executed. The strong grapple modifier has been revamped to allow the player to perform more powerful moves on the opponent as the player progresses into the match and wears down the opponent. There are new announce table moves like a moonsault from the ring to the prone opponent.

Stronghold Legends Say good-bye to the historical authenticity of Strongholds past and hello to one generic, seriously flawed fantasy RTS.

Interesting concept blends medieval history with fantasy.
It's gotten to the point that you don't know what you're going to get when you open the box of a new Stronghold game. The castle-building franchise from Hartford's Firefly Studios has gone through some significant changes over the past two years, but the latest version throws the whole formula out the window. Stronghold Legends moves the series out of the history books and into D&D-styled real-time strategy territory with mythical heroes, dragons, and dwarves. Yet while this is admittedly a nifty idea, the switch from reality to fantasy kills the historical authenticity that has long been a trademark of the Stronghold line. Even worse, everything seems to have been crowbarred into the aged Stronghold 2 engine, resulting in a generic RTS that has more than a few serious technical and design issues.

    Giant-sized opponents and giant-sized problems.
The actual gameplay in Stronghold has little to do with the earlier games in the franchise. Here, instead of building a castle and getting knee-deep into the nitty-gritty of what it was like to live during the Middle Ages, you sign up for three campaigns out of medieval mythology. In the opener, you take on the role of King Arthur, battling against the Saxons for control of Britain. In the others, you play as Siegfried, the German dragon slayer and star of a Wagnerian opera, and Vlad the Impaler, the Transylvanian Turk-killer best known today as the bloody inspiration for Dracula.
But nothing of interest has been done to develop these storylines or settings. Buildings follow the RTS template and feature barracks, armories, granaries, and so forth. Resource gathering goes beyond the usual food, wood, and stone, but it does so by adding an annoying level of micromanagement to what should be a straightforward grind of building armies and attacking the bad guys. A game this simplistic probably shouldn't demand the collection and processing of any resources, as mission objectives always involve straightforward building armies and killing enemies.
All of the soldiers featured in each faction are virtually identical. There is little difference here whether you're fighting on behalf of the evil forces of Dracula or the noble knights of King Arthur. Also, since the units themselves are generic, the gee-whiz factor of getting to play Count Blah and his evil minions in an RTS fades quickly. You get little aside from the same old pikemen, archers, crossbowmen, and swordsmen. There is only so much that a developer can do with a medieval setting, of course, but no effort was made to provide significantly different troops to represent the nationalities and time periods represented. A millennium passed between the King Arthur campaign of the mid-400s and the Vlad campaign of the mid-15th century. You would think that more than the color of the shirts would have changed during that time.
At least the three sides vary quite a bit when it comes to the menageries of mythological beasties that they can throw into battle. Heroes like Arthur, Merlin, Siegfried, and Vlad have special powers that give them the ability to pull off feats like casting spells, knocking down walls, and summoning magical creatures. In the Arthur scenarios, you have access to heroic knights and wizards straight out of Malory; in the Siegfried ones, you deal with figures out of Norse legend such as frost giants; and in the Dracula missions, you get to play with Halloween refugees like creepers and werewolves. All of the units fit perfectly into their settings and make the game feel like a collection of folktales come to life.
Yet while these beasties add color to Stronghold Legends, and some cool moments like giants stomping pesky soldiers with their feet and Merlin blasting archers with lightning bolts, they don't do much for gameplay. For starters, most are underpowered. Dragons, for instance, are second-rate compared to Tolkien's Smaug and can be taken out by well-placed archers. Giants can be ganged up on by regular infantry grunts like pikemen and felled quicker than you can say fee-fi-fo-fum. And just breathing on the frail Merlin seems to kill him. More play testing was also needed to root out some big problems with mission design and artificial intelligence. Most missions are laid out in an extremely linear fashion. You start at point A and kill everything until you reach point B, you defend a fortress until the clock runs out, and so on. But lack of imagination is the least of the game's issues. Enemy troops often continue patrolling mindlessly and actually ignore huge columns of your soldiers even after you've just smashed down or climbed a castle wall. They often don't react to crossbowmen or archers firing away at them, either, and sometimes choose to walk away from battles or abandon sieges. The narrator who provides tips on enemy attacks frequently comes out with lines like, "Woodsmen have seen a band of enemy troops heading this way!" right before they turn around and head back home. The game was obviously shipped without a fully functioning AI.
It also wasn't shipped with a modern graphics engine. Stronghold Legends looks like it was made with the same dated 3D technology that powered Stronghold 2, which unfortunately means that it looks like it was released around 2002. Visuals are drab and dingy overall, with blocky castles, dull building styles with little in the way of convincing detail, and terribly animated units that wobble back and forth when they run, like packs of chain-mail-clad Fat Alberts. Because there is no collision detection, battles between human armies immediately degenerate into undulating, colored blobs with no way to tell what's going on or who's winning.
Audio quality is a bit better, thanks to suitably cheesy voice acting during scenarios and soldiers' shouts during charges that really get the blood moving. Lines are repeated way too often, though, and frequently misstate what's actually going on. Once per mission, you'll usually hear something completely incongruous such as, "The enemy's ladders are on the walls!" even though you're not actually defending any walls at the time.

Misty morning, clouds in the sky. Without warning, a wizard walks by. And blasts a bunch of Saxons to bits.
And even though Firefly should know its way around this engine by now, there are some serious bugs here. Crashes to the desktop are an infrequent occurrence, but the big problem is that units rarely respond properly to commands. They run by targeted enemies and often turn their backs on foes, giving them a free shot or two at you while you slowly rotate around to attack. Mass attacks directed at specific baddies always result in some units attacking and many others just standing around cooling their heels. It's best not to attack directly at all, as you're more likely to get everyone in on the action if you move close to the enemy and let the AI take over from there. Installing the version 1.10 patch didn't seem to rectify any of these issues, either.
There are some appealing alternatives to the campaigns, although considering all the gameplay problems and bugs, it's hard to contemplate why anyone would want to bother with them. Still, the three Legends Trails sets of linked skirmish maps is an intriguing idea that plays like a trio of solo ladders. Custom skirmishes with up to four players can also be played, both online and off. There does seem to be a fair number of people looking for matches online, too, so you can find games pretty easily. And a map editor is also included for players who want to roll their own skirmish scenarios.
The developers were obviously going for a you-got-your-chocolate-in-my-peanut-butter moment here by throwing D&D into their medieval simulation series, but Stronghold Legends is just another second-rate RTS. While incorporating giants and dragons into the mix may seem like a natural fit these days, as any game with castle walls in it seems to demand the addition of Tolkienesque beasties to knock them down, you've got to do more than just toss such creatures in with generic armies and buggy gameplay. This is an interesting concept that deserved more careful attention than the designers gave it.

Need for Speed II is a 1997 racing video game, developed by Electronic Arts Canada and published by Electronic Arts. It is a part of the Need for Speed series and sequel to The Need for Speed (1994), significantly deviating from the emphasis of realism in The Need for Speed to arcade-like gameplay, though it introduces the car tuning. As does its predecessor, Need for Speed II features several exotic cars, and includes tracks set in various parts of the world. The game also opted to remove police pursuits introduced in The Need for Speed.

There are three main game types. The first two are single race and tournament and the last is a knockout race. Single races allow players to become familiar with the circuits and increase their skill of any one of the six tracks. The six tracks are called Mediterranean, Mystic Peaks, Proving Grounds, Outback, North Country, and Pacific Spirit.[1] Cars that are playable from the start include the McLaren F1, Ferrari F50, Ford GT90, Jaguar XJ220, Lotus GT1 and Lotus Espirit V8, Italdesign Cala, and the Isdera Commendatore 112i.[1] The game features extensive multi-player options including two to eight players over a LAN, by modem or serial connection and with split-screen racing.[2]

One of the towns on the Mystic Peaks track
In a single race the player selects the opposing car, while all cars compete in a tournament and at the start of a knockout race. There is also two playing styles—arcade or simulation. Arcade mode improves handling while simulation mode is intended to provide more realism.[3] The number of laps can be chosen from two, four or six. Automatic or manual transmission as well car paint color are selectable in all game types.
A tournament race involves playing all tracks in order with the starting track able to be selected. Only after successfully completing a tournament in first place can knockout races can be played. Knockout races involve racing two laps over each of the six tracks with a number of opponents. These disqualification races always start on the easiest circuit and continue through each map, with the player who finishes last being eliminated after each race. After advancing through all the tracks another circuit is revealed. Monolithic Studios can then only be played by completing all knockout races first.

Grand Theft Auto San Andreas is the latest title in the controversial Grand Theft Auto video game series. Game features include:
Entire state of San Andreas, meaning three cities will be present in the game, each connected by countryside. Los Santos, a fictional Los Angeles, San Fierro, a rendition of San Francisco, and La Venturra, which is the Grand Theft Auto version of Las Vegas.
Stamina Meter. Carl, the main character, will have to consume food on his journey across San Andreas, and will gain weight if he eats too much. Gyms will be available to work out in.
Larger map, which is much more interesting and alive than Vice City. Hills and even a mountain is to be included.
Five years ago Carl Johnson escaped from the pressures of life in Los Santos, San Andreas... a city tearing itself apart with gang trouble, drugs and corruption. Where filmstars and millionaires do their best to avoid the dealers and gangbangers.
Now, it's the early 90s. Carl's got to go home. His mother has been murdered, his family has fallen apart and his childhood friends are all heading towards disaster.
On his return to the neighborhood, a couple of corrupt cops frame him for homicide. CJ is forced on a journey that takes him across the entire state of San Andreas, to save his family and to take control of the streets.
